Choosing the Right 3PL Provider:
While manufacturers have optimized the manufacturing process to create premium products, optimizing the delivery process so that the products are received in factory-mint condition by the end-user, has become of paramount importance. Manufacturers must realize the significance of choosing a reliable third party solution they can depend on beings this solution may in fact be the last link in the supply chain. The manufacturer’s product line must arrive at its given destination in the proper state and in the appropriate timely manner as this often serves as a direct reflection of the manufacturer itself.
Our Goal:
Fulfillment Solutions Inc. was specifically created to provide manufacturers with a desired warehousing and controlled delivery system in mind. Our optimum goal is to develop an effective controlled delivery system custom tailored for clients that provides special delivery of ALL products throughout the entire shipping and delivery process from the factory to the end-user. Companies can now utilize FSI Distribution Centers as a direct extension of their company without having the costs associated with running their own distribution center which can be expensive, time consuming, and inefficient.

There is no project too large or too small that FSI will not take on and provide the information and services necessary to help streamline a company’s logistics solution from start to finish. We deal with both large scale freight items as well as small scale packaging with companies ranging from hundreds of orders per day to a few per month and no logistics experience at all. Fulfillment Solutions Inc. has successfully implemented logistics strategies and solutions for companies that include Village Square Music, Dreamhouse Publishing, Kolbus America, as well as Bono’s ONE.org. FSI has also established excellent relations with many of the nation’s leading regional LTL and FTL carriers as well as providing our own local delivery and routing, so there is no longer a need for concern that carriers cannot be completely controlled.
Our Services Include But Are Not Limited To:
Receiving Products and Put-away:
Each carton is received via UPC Bar Code for advanced/customized product tracking. All products are recorded and determined as to cubic size, weight limitations, warehouse bin location and stackability.
Products and Picking:
Order selection is done via state-of-the-art, Radio Frequency Inventory Control Scanners, using FIFO or LIFO methods based on each customer's specification. Each order is identified and prioritized by availability of stock, separation of case-pick versus full-pallet-pick quantities. Additionally, compliance labels and/or UCC 128 labels are prepared to the specifications of the manufacturer.
Storage:
Each product is recorded in inventory and assigned a bin location allowing the maintenance of audit histories and the ability to re-transmit orders at any time. Regular cycle counts are taken to validate inventory quantities, turns and physical presence. Physical inventory counts are provided at month end.
Packaging:
UPS/RPS/FedEX Multiple cartons are combined into single packs in an effort to minimize shipping and handling cost to the customer. Any shrink wrapping, re-labeling, and repackaging are included in the handling charge.
Clerical Order Processing:
Each order is entered and processed for FIFO, LIFO, UPC Bar Code, physical count, weight, and bin location for historical records.
